This facility is part of the Central Grampians Trade Training Centre Cluster (Stawell & Ararat) which was funded by the Federal Government to address skills shortages in the region. The building contains a commercial training kitchen & bar and a flexible dining room/ classroom space. The building enables the School to deliver Vocational Education & Training Certificate qualifications in Hospitality and also provide a facility for use by the public.
The building is sited with an open elevation embracing the street front, encouraging community engagement and lifting the profile of the School in the town. The commercial kitchen connects to a VCE courtyard via a servery window for the serving of food & coffee created by the students to the rest of the school.
