This facility is part of the Central Grampians Trade Training Centre Cluster (Stawell & Ararat) which was funded by the Federal Government to address skills shortages in the region. The building enables the School to deliver Vocational Education & Training Certificate qualifications in Automotive Panel & Paint. It includes a commercial spray booth & bake oven, workshop and a classroom space.
Although specifically designed to deliver training for Panel & Paint it has the flexibility to cater for other hands-on subjects as the School’s curriculum develops. The building has a robust commercial workshop aesthetic designed to consolidate and lift the profile of an existing trade precinct consisting of metal farm type sheds.
